Notarizations
When a document issued in one country is to be used in another country, that document must be notarized before it can be used in the foreign country. A notarized document, means that a Notary confirm that the copy is in fact a true, accurate and complete reproduction of the original. Common documents which may need to be notarized include university certificates, passports, identity cards, amongst others.Once a Notary has certified a copy to be a true copy of the original, the Notary’s signature and stamp need to be authenticated the Maltese Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
